Roy is from Zhejiang, China. He got his bachelor’s degree in Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University in 2014.
His current research interest is on bottlebrush polymers, including their design and development for antifouling coatings. Roy is studying how bottlebrushes can be deposited and crosslinked on a surface using low-cost, continuous processing routes.
Roy is a big fan of Portland Trail Blazers.
