Alec is from Bernardsville, New Jersey. He graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Where he worked on both the development of the development of transparent composite organic-inorganic films for energy storage applications. Currently, Alec is interested in the use of polymeric materials for energy storage devices. Specially using 2-D and 3-D Covalent Organic frameworks as metal-free cathodes for li-ion batteries.
